Pantry Shower - “Amazing Response”
Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 was set as the date of the annual pantry shower benefiting the Macomb Charitable Foundation.
The foundation pantry focuses on items that are not available with the use of food stamps.
Thus items such as cleaning supplies, hygiene items and diapers are some of the important items needed.
Members were encouraged to bring their donations to this meeting.
President Elaine noted that this is a great way to help out those less fortunate in our community.
“Thank you ever so much for your generosity… it was an amazing amount of stuff.” was the message we received from
Cheryl and Ed Borowski of the the Macomb Charitable Foundation following our clubs March Pantry Shower-Meeting in March.
